Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada district recorded 153 new active COVID-19 positive cases raising the tally to 6168. With this, there are a total of 3138 active cases in the district. 

Out of the total 2854 discharged to date, 124 were discharged today after recovering from the disease.

Also, there were 7 COVID related deaths reported today taking the district death toll to 176. 

Meanwhile, the district continues to remain under close monitoring for COVID-19 cases.
