Mangaluru: A person from Belthangady taluk succumbed to Covid-19, taking the death toll of Dakshina Kannada district reached to six, on May 25.

According to the sources, a 45-year-old person from Belthangady was admitted to Covid Wenlock Hospital as he had respiratory issues. However, he succumbed on Sunday night.
His throat swabs were sent for testing.

When the results came today, it was positive for Covid-19. With this, the death toll reached six in Dakshina Kannada district.
