Court grants stay on probe into Actor Vinod Alva case

Bengaluru: The High Court has granted a two-week stay on the investigations on the murder abetment case that stand against actor Vinod Alva.

A single-judge bench presided by Justice PD Vaingankar granted an interim stay for two weeks and announced that a full-fledged hearing would be held during the period. The court also directed the original complainants Udaya Kumar and Sachidananda to file their objections.

Alva is facing charges of abetment to the murder of his former manager. The actor has filed a petition in the HC against the police inquiry.
