Corp Bank donates Rs 1 cr to Uttarakhand Relief Fund

Mangalore : Corporation Bank has donated Rupees One Crore to the Chief Ministers’ Relief Fund – Uttarakhand for relief and rehabilitation of the people of Uttarakhand State which has been recently hit by unprecedented floods.

The donation cheque was handed over to  Vijay Bahuguna, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand by  B K Srivastav, Executive Director of the Bank at Dehradun, recently.

As a part of fulfilling Corporate Social Responsibilities and as a responsible corporate citizen the Bank has initiated several welfare measures aiming at the underprivileged section of the society in fulfillment of its commitment to social priorities. As the bounden duty to extend support for the relief and rescue operations as well as for mitigating the sufferings of the affected fellow countrymen, Corporation Bank has risen to the occasion and has donated to the Chief Ministers’ Relief Fund towards the cause of the affected in Uttarakhand, a press release from Corporation Bank said.
