Udupi : A family from Padi Kudal in Thrissur which had arrived in Padubidri to attend a religious function has lost its bag of jewels containing gold weighing nearly 25 sovereigns.
The family of Venugopal and Ratna was being escorted from the railway station to their place of stay by Haridas Bhat of Pangala village, when the bag kept in the luggage carrier of the Tata Sumo vehicle suddenly fell on the road near the Mahalakshmi Temple at Uchila.
