Udupi : Most of the political parties were  in the field doing brisk campaigning on April 15, Tuesday before campaigning for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections came to an end at 6 pm.The fate of 11 candidates in the fray from Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency now rests in the hands of the voters.

The BJP organised a huge rally as a part of its final campaign. Over 300 bike riders participated in the rally. A public meeting  held at Chittaranjan circle, was participated by  BJP candidate Shobha Karandlaje.

Congress Mahila Morcha too organized a rally which was led by Udupi MLA Pramod Madhwaraj’s wife Supriya Madhwaraj and JP Hegde’s daughter Divya Hegde.

On the other hand, S Vijaykumar, CPI candidate who addressed a public meeting, assured a corruption-free government. He also pointed out at the irregularities of other parties.
