Mangaluru: The Mangaluru East Police officers have registered a case against a 24-year-old youth for posting derogatory comments against Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy here on Friday, August 3.

The arrested accused is Prashanth Poojary, a resident of Meramajalu, Bantwal Taluk.

It is gathered that the Managaluru City Police have taken a Suo Motu action against the accused.

A case has been registered under IPC 153 and 504.
