Bangalore:The state Criminal Investigation Department (CID) that has carried out thorough probe related to corruption in Karnataka Public Service Commission (KSSC) and submitted a report to the state administration in this regard.
The entire state was stunned on the allegations of bribing the officials of KPSC related to appointments during 2010. The state administration has instructed CID to probe the allegations, which has completed the probe and submitted its final report the state administration now.
The report stated that KPSC chairman Gonal Bheemappa has no role in the corruption charges. It has stated the role of KPSC secretary Sundar and member Sridar in this regard. Besides Ashok Kumar, Sudhir, Somanat and Rajashekar were the key accused and middlemen.
The report will be present in the assembly meeting and further actions will be taken only after CM Siddaramaiah who is now on overseas tour returns.
KPSC job aspirants Dr H P S Maitri and Ajay G filed a suit in the court alleging corruption in appointments, in spite of they fulfilled the criteria of appointments they were not shortlisted.
CM Siddaramaiah soon after assuming the office instructed CID to expedite the investigations. Accordingly, CID sleuths interrogated the witnesses and gathered vital documents by raiding on the houses and offices of all those involved in corruption charges.
