Mangaluru : Mangaluru was witness to a chain snatching incident on Monday. Unknown miscreants on Monday, snatched jewellery worth Rs. 4.8 lac from a woman near Mukhya Prana temple here.
 
According to the complaint filed at Mangaluru North police, the victim Shalini Bhat was talking to her friend near the temple when three unknown persons came on a bike and snatched the chains and a mangalsutra.
 
Mangaluru North police have registered a case and the investigation is on.
