Mangalore : As usual the educational hub of Mangalore has earned laurels in CET exams. Four of its students have bagged ranks in CET 2013, the results of which were announced on May 28, Tuesday.
Medha Narayan Rao of Expert PU College, bagged second rank in medical, Agriculture(BSc and Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy. Another Mangalore student Sachin Krishna Raj K of Canara PU College bagged fourth rank in medical in CET.
The other toppers are Sahan Alva who bagged fourth rank in engineering, Varun Venkatesh and Saveeksha Kotekar who bagged sixth and eighth rank respectively in the medical stream. All are students of Expert PU College.
It is their hard work that really paid off, say the CET Toppers. If Medha Raos parents Narayana Rao and Shobha Rao are based in Qatar, Sachin Krishna is from Kasargod and both his parents Sukheesh Raj and Savithra Raj are doctors.He has also emerged successful in the Kishore Vaigyanik Prothsahan Yojana exams.
Varun Venkatesh who bagged the sixth rank in CET(Medical) is the son of Dr Venkatesh Sanjeeva, a surgeon, and Lavanya.
