Siddhartha is married to Shambhavi, the elder daughter of S M Krishna. He was in the news recently following IT raids on his firms.

Senior politicians from Bengaluru are rushing to the city.

He is a native of the Chikkamagalur district and completed his business studies from Mangalore University.

The issue came to light after his car driver of three years, Basavaraj Patil alerted Siddhartha’s family.

Till Tuesday morning, the police search has not yielded any result.

The police sought the help of local fishermen to aid in their search operation. Boats have been pressed into service to trace him, who is now feared to have drowned. Since the river has swollen due to the heavy rains in the past few days, the search operation is said to have been hampered.
