Moodbidri: Police seized a Alto car which was allegedly used to transport cattle in a very inhumane manner here near Paper Mill in Moodbidri Muncipal limits.

The incident took place when the driver of the car lost control due to over speed and it overturned on the road. When the locals went to help him, they came across a cow which was inside the car. Soon after the locals stopped the vehicle, three persons escaped the spot leaving the car. The car was heading towards Moodbidri from Bantwal and bearing a Bengaluru registration number plate.

Soon the locals informed police and the car and lethal weapons were seized.
