Kasargod: Seven persons, including a pregnant woman, were injured in a collision between two cars, near Kumble on August 28.

Rajesh (38), Vijayan (55), both residents of Payyanur Talipramaba and Ayshabi (40), Irfana (20), Anees (23), Samira (35) and Suhaiba (18) , all residents of Kumble Arikkady were injured in the accident.

Rajesh and Vijayan were heading to see a relative admitted at a hospital in Mangaluru. Their car crashed into another one coming from the opposite direction carrying Arikkady residents.

Residents of Arikkadi were taking the pregnant woman to a hospital in Kasargod, when the accident took place.

Among them, Rajesh and Vijayan were admitted to hospitals in Mangaluru.

Five people from Arikkadi, are being treated at District Cooperative Hospital in Kumble.

Kumble police have registered a case.
