Mangaluru: The Car Street (Ratha Beedi) turned all colourful as thousands of devotees celebrated the Okuli fest held as part of the Car Festival (Kodial Teru).

Okuli marks the end of the six day Kodial Teru. Youngsters and seniors alike came together on the streets and enjoyed splashing coloured water on each other. People hugged each other and distributed sweets to mark the celebration.

The Kodial Theru is the event of the Gawda Saraswat Brahmin (GSB) community in commemoration of the divine union of lord Venkataramana with goddess Padmavathi.
