Mangaluru: ‘Bramha Rathotsava’ of Sri Venkataramana temple, Car Street, took place here, on Tuesday, February 12, in the holy presence of Kashi Mutt Pontiff, Shrimadh Samyamindhra Teertha Swamiji.

The event, which was celebrated with randeur, was witnessed by thousands of devotees.

A special prayer was arranged on the auspicious occassion in the presence of Samyamindhra Swamiji, followed by ‘Panchamrita Abhisheka’, ‘Gangabhisheka’ and ‘Shathakalabhisheka’ by the seer. A ‘yajna’ (offerings to the Gods through fire) was also performed.

A special memorial of Kashi Mutt Pontiff’s ‘Tirumala Chaturmasa’ was released by the seer on this auspicious occassion.
