Mangaluru: In a tragic accident, an elderly man was killed after his car rammed into the rear of a state road transport bus on Tuesday, June 28.

The deceased has been identified as Vasanth Kumar (87). It is said that Kumar was driving the car. The mishap occured near at Valachil on Bengaluru-Mangaluru highway.

Eye witnesses at the spot said that the car hit a bus stationed on the roadside.
