Ullal: A motorcyclist succumbed to grievous injuries on September 6 sustained from an overspeeding car which had rammed into his bike from behind in Thokkottu Kallapu limits on September 3.

Vimalesh (28), son of Rajesh, a resident of Chitranjalinagar in Kumpala is the deceased motorcyclist.

Vimalesh was returning home alone on his bike after attending Ganesha festivities accompanied by two of his friends on another bike. The over speeding car rammed into Vimlaesh’s bike from behind on the ill-fated night.

Vimalesh suffered severe head injuries and was rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru for treatment.

He failed to respond to the treatment and eventually succumbed to injuries on Wednesday night.

Employed at an electronic commerce company, deceased Vimalesh is survived by parents, a brother and sisters.
