Mangaluru: A private bus heading from BC Road to Kinnigoli toppled after the driver lost control near Kateel apparently injuring more than 15 passengers on Thursday. The injured have been taken to hospitals in Kinnigoli and Mukka.

The incident occurred when the bus driver lost control while trying to navigate on a curve. It is said that the wet mud by the side of the road gave way and the vehicle toppled near the Ballana junction.

Bajpe police have registered a case in this regard.
