Mangaluru: A cow lost its life, and another suffered severe injuries when the driver of a private motor bus traveling from Kundapur to Mysuru-Mandya collided with them at Kodikal junction late on Friday night.

Upon the accident, nearby residents and motorists quickly gathered at the scene, intercepting the bus and confronting the driver. Police arrived promptly to manage the situation.
