Mangalore:Four persons sustained injuries, one of them critically  in a collision between a lorry and a bus  at a place called Paniru near Derlakatte in Ullal police station limits on October 28, Monday afternoon.

The  bus driver Sharief, Manish, a student of Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the lorry cleaners Valerian and Babu sustained injuries.

The mishap occurred when a speeding lorry laden with stones, which was heading towards Madoor from Derlakatte,  hit against a PTC  bus carrying students of Nitte Pharmacy College. Two electric poles were damaged as the bus driver had  hit  the poles in a bid to  avert a collision. Ullal police have registered a case.
