Bantwal : A bus driver lost control and fell into a drainage injuring the passengers as well as driver here on July 4, when a tipper lorry came in opposite direction at high speed.

The Bus was heading from vitla to Perla. When it reached Kuddupadav junction, the tipper lorry driver suddenly slammed the brake when he saw a  bus coming from other direction. The bus driver lost control and hit the tipper, due to this right side of the bus is damaged.

There were 20-30 passengers who had minor injuries.

Vitla Police Station sub inspector Raghavendra T R visited the spot.
