Mangalore :  A fishing boat has capsized in mid sea off the Udyavar, Manjeshwa coast in the  early hours of July 30, Tuesday.  Though the  boat owner and four others onboard were rescued, another fisherman who too was in the boat is has been washed away by the strong currents of the sea.

It is learnt, the boat capsized after it hit a  rock due to heavy wind.Those rescued were Kishore, Padmaraj, Harish, Shekhar and Navin.   

The deceased has been identified as Keshav Kotian (55) and  was fishing on the boatcalled  Jala Kusuma, when the incident took place.The boat is owned by Kishore Karkera.

His body was later recovered from the same coast.
