Mangaluru: After a lot of blame game and deflection post the by-polls in Karnataka on the part of the BJP, party senior leader and Union minister D V Sadananda Gowda recently admitted that it was the controversial rhetoric of some of the party leaders that led to their defeat.
The senior leader was speaking to reporters when he made the comment, adding that the mistakes made could not be rectified. He then assured that the party would work on its weaknesses and come up with appropriate strategies to win the upcoming 2019 general elections.
Taking a dig at the Congress party for celebrating Tipu Jayanti, he said that the consequences of their move would be reflected in the Lok Sabha elections, which will obliterate them, leaving them only in history.
