Ullal: Former MLA Jayaram Shetty along with BJP leaders and pro-Hindu activists laid siege to the police station at Ullal and urged the cops to nab the “miscreants disrupting peace” in the area.
The action was provoked by an alleged murder attempt on a RSS leader Rammohan. “Those who are involved in disrupting peace in the area have links with terrorists. If the police officials fail to nab the accused, we will hold aggressive protests on November 15,” warned Jayaram Shetty.
He further said that the police have not yet arrested the accused involved in murder cases, murder attempts and other cases in Ullal and Konaje station limits. Though there is a repeated attack on pro-Hindu leaders, cops have failed to nab the accused, he alleged.
“BJP and the pro-Hindu activists are ready to cooperate with the police in nabbing the accused. Though there is political pressure, discuss with the higher officials and nab the accused”, urged BJP leader Santhosh Rai Boliyar.
Nalin Kumar Kateel condemns Murder Attempt
“The attack on RSS leader Rammohan by the miscreants is condemnable. Due to police and Congress government’s failure such incidents are happening”, alleged MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.
“The law and order situation is worse in Mangaluru and the people have lost faith in the police department. Hindus are living in fear. If it continues, we will hold massive protests”, MP warned.
