Bangalore: BJP candidates who faced defeat in the recent assembly elections convinced that B S Yeddyurappas exit was solely responsible for partys utter defeat.
The state BJP leaders expressed this during the introspection meet on setbacks of assembly elections, which was held at BJP office, Malleswaram, here for 2 days. If the party high command does not welcomes Yeddyurappa back into BJP; the assembly results are likely to repeat in the forthcoming general elections, stated the key members.
The state BJP leaders stated that despite the better show of five-year term, the voters frustrated over constant struggle for leadership, poor performance of minister and ill character, the party has to face major defeat in the assembly elections.
