Mangaluru: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary and party in-charge Karnataka affairs on Monday said that the BJP is determined to make Karnataka a congress-free state.
Addressing the press persons in the city, Mr. Murlidhar Rao said, “We will aggressively campaign in the state. As far as Karnataka is concerned all issues have been resolved and the party is united and the sole goal is to uproot Congress from the State. Things have changed, dynamism has changed, young people have expressed their support”, he said.

Rao said that the party is aiming to strengthen the party in various states, which enjoys less support. The party also wants to strengthen its position in South especially in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and is highly focused on Bengal and Assam, he said.
World’s largest party
Besides, Muralidhar Rao said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will establish itself as the world’s largest party, and is also confident of beating the Communist Party of China through its massive membership drive campaign.
He said that the party is now on consolidation mode and thus it has embarked upon a historic membership campaign. “People have accepted the ideology of the BJP. We received 8 crore votes in 2009, and it was 17 crores in 2014, he said.
Protest on December 9
The party is also launching a massive protest on December 9 at Belagavi during the winter session against Congress party’s mis-governance and failure of administration in the state, he informed.
