Mangaluru: A mass marriage led by BJP chief in breach of Covid guidelines took place in Dakshina Kannada district on Sunday April 25. This, despite the statewide weekend curfew regulation.

Tungappa Bangera, a Zilla Panchayat member, led a mass wedding at Punjalakatte in Belthangady taluk. Furthermore, the party was seen attending the wedding without a mask, indicating that there is no social distancing.

The event held flouting norms of lockdown has garnered huge criticism from public and across social media.
