Bantwal: A biker died in a head-on collision with an oil tanker near Amai Bridge in Perne on Monday, September 19.

Musthafa (35), resident of Hirthadka Janatha Colony was returning home via Mani after attending a wedding when the accident occurred. The father of three daughters collided against an oil tanker coming from Bengaluru when he tried to overtake a car. He was thrown out his bike and suffered serious injuries and died on the way to the hospital.

Musthafa hailed from a poor background and was the sole bread winner of the family.

Bantwal traffic police registered a case and are investigating.
