Mangalore: In a tragic incident that occurred at Ganjimatt, a man was killed in a bid to avoid ramming his bike into a cow that came in the way.

The victim is identified as Bhasker Alva(34), a resident of Mogaru Hosamane.

Reports said that Bhasker, who works at the Mangalore International Airport as a loader, was on his way back home. When he reached Malali Cross a cow suddenly appeared on the road. In a bid to save the cow, he lost control over the vehicle and fell. Due to head injuries he lost life on the spot.

Bajpe police came to the spot and a case has been filed.
