BIG Traffic Guru to be conducted by 92.7 BIG FM and Mangalore City Traffic Police

Mangalore: Mangalore’s No.1 FM Radio Station  92.7 BIG FM in association with Mangalore City Traffic Police (MCTP) will be conducting a week long Traffic Awareness Programme called ‘BIG Traffic Guru’ from September 5th on the day of Teachers Day.

The inauguration of this programme will be done at Lalbagh Signal near the Mahatma Gandhi Statue on 5th September ,Friday at 4.55pm.  A group of TRAFFIC GURU’s will enact the traffic rules for 7 days starting from 5th September. 9 Traffic Guru’s,2 signals for 7 days (till 11th September covering 14 signals in and around Mangalore)

Members from the Supersouls NGO will perform an awareness drill at signals across the city as a part of this awareness drive. The awareness drives shall aim to imbibe and rekindle traffic sense among commuters and the public. This will be done by means of an audio-visual presentation.

This is an unique attempt to bring traffic awarness amongst, and  probably first time the city is witnessing such an event.

Sri. Vishnuvardhan, Deputy Commissioner of Police(DCP) Sri. Udaya Nayak, Assistant Commissioner of Police(ACP), Police Officers from all the stations, Sri. Vijayanath Vittalnath Shetty from Shri Bhoothanathesharwa Temple Trust, Sri. Narasimha Shenoy from Origin Designext, Sri. Prashanth from Redrocks Group, Mr. Yathish Baikampandy from Panamboor Beach Development Authority and Team 92.7 BIG FM will be present on this occasion.
