Mangaluru: A 20-year old Bhutan national, who is a second year nursing student of the Indira Education Trust, ended her life at her paying guest accommodation in the city. The incident took place at 10 am, Thursday, November 06, when her three roommates were not in the house.

According to the police, the victim is identified as Dechen Zangma (20). She was residing at ‘Holy Cross Family’ residence as a paying guest, which is located behind Mangalore City Corporation building, Lalbagh.

The police said she hanged herself from a hook at the ceiling, using the chudidhar shawl. “She was mentally depressed”, the police said.

ASI Nagesh is investigated the case. A case has been registered in the Barke police station.
