Bhramakalashostava of Anantha Padmanabha Temple begins from Feb 18

Mangaluru: The Anantha Padmanabha Temple Bhramakalashostava Committee Chief Convener Kadambodi Mahabala Poojary on February 9 informed that the Horekanike to the Anantha Padmanabha Temple on the occasion of Bhramakalashostava will be taken from 18 places to the temple.

Addressing a press meet here on Friday, Mahabala Poojary said in the presence of Mayor Kavitha Sanil, the Sharada Education Institution President M B Puranik and Sharavu Temple Managing Trustee Raghavendra Shastri, that the Horekanike would be inaugurated on February 18.

The Horakanike procession to Anantha Padmanabha Temple will begin from Nehru Maidan. The procession will be carried out from Nehru Maidan via Bunts Hostel, Kadri, Nanthoor, Bikarnakatte, Kaikamba, Kuleshekar Chowki and Baithurli to Kudupu.

On February 20, under the initiative of Shirooru Matt Seer Lakshmivara Thirtha, Idya Mahalingeshwara Temple priest Ramananda Bhat, the Horekanike would be offered to the Anantha Padmanabha Temple on the occasion of Bhramakalashostava.

On February 22, Horekanike from Vamanjoor Shri Rama Bhajana Mandir will reach the temple.

Bhramakalashostava Committee Convener Krishnaraja Tantri, General Secretary Sujandas Kudupu, Sharan Pumpwell, Manohar Bhat, Prabhakar Bhat and others were present during the press meet.
