Puttur: A fire erupted in a moving bus, plying from Bengaluru to Mangaluru, when it reached Sannampady near Uppinangady, early morning on Monday December 1.

Reportedly  25 passengers were in the bus, of which, two were mildly injured, however all others had a miraculous escape.

One of the injured is a woman, and she has been admitted to hospital in Puttur, police sources said.

The bus was completely charred in the incident. Police along with fire personnel rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames.

The cause for the fire is not yet known, Uppinangady police have registered a case.
