Belthangady Former MLA K. Vasanth Bangera Passes Away

Belthangady: Veteran Congress leader and five-time MLA from Belthangady, K. Vasanth Bangera, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 79. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Bengaluru, where he was undergoing treatment for health ailments.

Born on January 15, 1946, Bangera was the eldest son of Kede Subba Poojary and Devaki. He was a highly respected figure in Dakshina Kannada district, known for his strong leadership.

Family sources have informed that Bangera’s mortal remains are expected to arrive in Belthangady onĀ  May 9 morning. The public will be allowed to pay their final respects after the arrival.
