Bantwala: The SDPI Bantawala is demanding adequate compensation for the family of the deceased in the landslide at Sajeepa Munnur Nandavar. This morning, Zarina, the wife of Mohammad, a labourer, tragically died when a landslide caused her house in Nandavara, Sajeepa Munnur village, to collapse.
Her daughter Safa was also seriously injured and is currently receiving treatment the hospital. The SDPI Bantwala Constituency Committee expresses its deepest condolences for this tragedy and urges the district administration to cover the expenses of Safa’s entire treatment. Furthermore, they call for appropriate compensation to be provided to the family of the deceased labourer. SDPI also commends the citizens of Nandavar and the Bantawala taluk rescue team for their immediate response and successful rescue operation, which saved student Safa.
