Mangalore: A 28-year old youth was killed on Sunday after the two-wheeler he was riding reportedly dashed a KSRTC bus at Mani, in Bantwal. 

The deceased is Harish Poojary, a resident of Kambala Bettu, Nerlaaje. He runs a furniture shop in Mani village.

On Sunday, while he was riding towards Mani, he met with an accident, reports stated. 

It’s said, the accident took place, when Harish tried to overtake a car. He reportedly lost control of the two-wheeler he was riding, after it dashed the rear side of the car and front side of the KSRTC bus, which was plying his opposite side. As a result, Harish fell on the road and the bus tyres went over his head. He died on the spot, the reports stated.

Vittal police have registered a case.
