Bantwal: Following Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and other political bigwigs’ visiting Kalladka and Sajipa next week, police have made all necessary arrangements to ensure security by deploying police personnel across Bantwal taluk.
The Chief Minister will be visiting Sajipamooda for the inauguration of Jnana Mandira of Shri Narayana Guru. Hence the taluk administration has inspected all the places where the CM will be visiting.
Similarly, BJP State party chief B S Yeddyurappa, Opposition leader Jagadish Shettar, Union Minister D V Sadananda Gowda and some religious leaders will be visiting Kalladka for the inauguration of newly built Rama Mandira.
As Kalladka and Sajipa are considered highly sensitive places in the taluk, the Police department is being extra alert.
Additional police forces have been called in to ensure security in the taluk. Already police personnel have been deployed in the sensitive areas and CCTVs have been installed in selected spots.
A meeting was convened by the police officials as well as taluk administrative officers.
