Mangaluru: Noted underworld don Bannanje Raja has been handed over to Pandeshwar police here for two days on Monday January 4, it is gathered.

According to sources, Pandeshwar police will interrogate him with regards to the assault on Human Rights activist PB D’Sa in 2002.

Raja who had been on the run for 18 years before his arrest in Morocco in February this year, was brought to New Delhi on August 14 and is now being tried in various courts in the country on several cases.
