Mangaluru: A 38 year-old man was booked under POCSO Act after he allegedly tried to sexually assault a minor girl at Kedalaike in Kavalapaduru.

Accused is Seetharama, an auto driver by profession.

It is learnt that the girl was walking back home when the accused attempted to rape her. Meanwhile, when the girl raised alarm, the accused fled the spot.

Punjalkatte Police have registered a case under POCSO act.
