Mangaluru: Austria’s Swami Maheshwarananda, from the Madhavananda Ashram has donated a 1972 model Benz 2-80S to the unique car museum in Dharmastala.

The Swamiji handed over the keys to the automobile to Dharmastala DC Dr Veerendra Hegde on Sunday, February 2.

Hegde appreciated the features of the car and went for a test drive with the Swamiji at the temple grounds.

Originally from Rajasthan, the Swamiji has set up an ashram in Austria. He reportedly purchased the vintage car from Austria’s Chancellor.
