Bantwal: The Bantwal police has arrested a person, on Tuesday August 26 in connection to the assault over a Brahmarakotlu toll collecting staff.

The arrested has been identified as Abubakkar Siddique a resident of Pudu.

According to the sources, on August 17, two bike riders heading towards Farangipet from BC Road had assaulted toll staff Raviraj and escaped.

The Bantwal police have produced the accused in the court and sent to judicial custody. A complaint was registered at Bantwal police station.
