Arvind Kejriwal arrives in city

Mangaluru: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal arrived in the city on Tuesday September 8, to attend a function in Belthangady on Wednesday September 9.

He was welcomed by members of Dakshina Kannada Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at Mangaluru International Airport on Tuesday night.

Kejriwal is scheduled to take part in the convocation of SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences at Ujire to be held on September 9. The convocation is being organized at Amritavarshini Hall Dharmasthala at 10.30 am.

Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari, Dr D Veerendra Heggade, will preside over the function. State health and family welfare minister U T Khader, and MLA K Vasant Bangera are expected to participate.

Following this, Kejriwal will be paying obeisance to Lord Manjunatha Swamy on Wednesday morning, before meeting Dr Heggade and visiting the Annapoorna dining hall.
