Mulky :A Laptop and a mobile have been stolen from a house here at Santhekatte in Haleyangadi in Mulky station limits on August 11.

The window latch was not fastened due to the rainy season. So the robbers opened all the windows and robbed a laptop and a mobile kept over dressing table.

The house belongs to Varadaraj who stays in Mumbai along with his family. On August 11 afternoon they had come to thier native place. The house was empty as they were settled in Mumbai.So the locals must have done this, police suspected.

In the Haleyangadi area these theft cases are happening repeatedly. Still police are not taking stern action. On August 11, robbers burgled a house in Tokur belonging to Leo Cutinha. Public has been repeatedly criticizing the  police department for failing to put an end to these cases, but they have not learnt their lessons.
