Mangaluru: Another suspected Indian Mujahideen operative has been arrested at the Mangaluru international airport here before he was to board a Dubai-bound flight.
The person has been identifed as Riyaz (32), who was residing at Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district, was picked up on Saturday night by Bengaluru Police with the help of their counterpart here, police said.

He was held based on information provided by three suspected IM operatives who were arrested on January 8 at Bhatkal and Bengaluru.

Bengaluru Police had claimed to have unearthed a suspected terror module of banned IM with the arrest of its three alleged operatives and seizure of a huge cache of explosives during their raids at Bhatkal and Bengaluru.
The police had also said that the possible role of the trio in the recent Bengaluru blast that killed a woman and injured three others was being probed.
