Moodbidri: Alvas team won the coveted B C Alva Trophy against Mangalore SDM college here on Wednesday. The tournament was organised by Mangalore University.

In the finals Alvas college beat Mangalore SDM college by 3 wickets.

SDM college opted to bat first and scored 237 runs. Alvas team successfully chased the target in 42.1 overs with 7 wickets in hand.

Duke Kaveri from Alvas scored 70, Naveen Shetty 62 and Naveen M G scored 50.

Duke Kaveri emerged man of the match and Pavan was declared best bowler. Naveen M G was best allrounder in the tournament.
