Mangaluru: Alva’s Education Foundation Managing Trustee Vivek M Alva said that the annual mass placement drive ‘Alva’s Pragati-2016’ will be held on July 2 and 3 at Alva’s Vidyagiri Campus, Moodabidri.

Addressing a press conference at Mangaluru Press Club on Saturday, Vivek Alva said that the event was great success last year. As many as 272 companies had taken part in the event and over 18000 candidates registered their names.

“This year almost 400 companies are likely to take part in the event. As of now, more than 150 companies have confirmed their participation. Prominent companies like Wipro, Adani group, ICICI Bank, TVS, Biocon, Idea Cellular will participate in Alva’s Pragati-2016,” he said.

He further informed that candidates who want to apply for Alva’s Pragati-2016 can register their names online at www.alvaspragati.com. Accommodation for outside candidates will be provided inside the campus. The candidates have to come with the required documents and online registered number to participate in Alva’s Pragati-2016.

“This is a very good opportunity for ITI/Diploma, nursing and Hotel Management students. Candidates from various streams can participate in the job fair,” he added.
