Mangalore: A college girl died in an accident after she was ran over a cement mixer lorry, here on Wednesday July 30.

The deceased has been identified as Andrea Patrao (17) daughter of Alwyn Patro. Andrea was a B.Com student at St Aloysius College.

The accident happened at Urwastore when Andrea along with her friend were riding towards Kulur.
She apparently fell out of the bike, when her friend applied sudden brakes while trying to avoid collision with an oncoming bike.

As she fell a cement mixer lorry ran over her, although she was immediately taken to the hospital, she was pronounced dead.

The West traffic police are investigating the accident.
