Mangalore: St.Aloysius B.Ed college celebrated annual day here on Tuesday at the college premises. The programme began with a prayer dance by Sr Grecilda and group.

Rev Fr Denzil Lobo SJ presided over the function. Principal Dr Farita Pinto, Director Fr Michael John SJ, Co-ordinator Sarita Rodrigues, vice principal Delna lobo and student president Br Falero were present on the dais.

Bharat Scouts and Guides deputy Commissioner N G Mohan, was the chief guest of the programme. Chief guest while addressing the gathering said that those who aspire to become teachers should be good readers which is lacking in todays world.

Archana Bhat, who secured third rank in B.Ed from Mangalore University was felicitated on the occasion.

Principal Dr Farita Pinto was also felicitated on the occcasion.

Cultural programme was organised including Folk dance, skit, dance drama by Lohithashwa and group on the occasion.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of various cultural Competitions held for the students.

Students, staff and parents were present on the occasion.
