Mangaluru: Acting upon a complaint that a private lodge in the city is running a prostitution racket, the Mangaluru City Police raided a lodge here on Sunday, August 26, but returned without any arrests.

Police raided a private lodge ‘Sammrudhi’, located at State Bank. When a large number of people gathered outside the hotel, the police had to restore to mild lathi charge to disperse the crowd.
