Udupi: “Genuine grievance, written in the form of a simple letter will also be attended”, assured Justice Shubash B Adi, Deputy Lokayukta (II) during the camp organized for settling the cases received by the Lokayuktha on Friday June 5.










Addressing issues such as land dispute, illegal constructions, encroachments and issues concerning the government bodies. Shubash said necessary action will be taken.
Justice Shubash B. Adi, while addressing the press meet after attending all cases, said there are 243 complaints out of which 227 have been attended.
“The grievances of common man should be redressed at their door step without making them go to Bangalore and wait for their compliant to be registered”, he added.
The State Lokayukta received 15000 complaints out of which 11000 complaints are disposed off. In Udupi and Manipal, Justice Shubash informed that the DC has been directed to take action wherever additional floor area ratio is given. They should ensure the surrender of the land as per the law, he asserted.
